Teen Recovery Is Different
Adolescents aren't just small adults. Their brains are still developing, their identities are forming, and they're navigating complex social pressures. Recovery coaching for teens requires specialized skills — and we have them.
Our adolescent services address the unique challenges teens face: peer pressure, school stress, family conflict, and the search for identity. We work with your teen as an individual while strengthening the family system around them.
What We Offer
Our adolescent services address the whole picture — not just substance use.
Teen-Focused Approach
Our coaches are trained to work with adolescents, using age-appropriate methods that respect teens' need for autonomy while providing structure and accountability.

With your permission, we coordinate with school counselors, teachers, and administrators to support academic success during recovery.
Social Skills Building
Help navigating peer relationships, saying no to substances, finding sober friends, and building a social life that supports recovery.
Activity Integration
Support engaging in sports, clubs, arts, and other activities that build confidence, purpose, and healthy social connections.
Parent Education

We understand your fear
Watching your child struggle with substances is terrifying. We've helped many families through this, and we know there's hope.
This isn't your fault
Addiction is complex. While family dynamics matter, blaming yourself doesn't help your teen recover. We focus on moving forward.
Your teen needs you
Research shows family involvement significantly improves recovery outcomes. Your participation makes a real difference.
You need support too
We help the whole family system heal. You'll learn new skills and get support for your own journey through this challenge.
You don't have to figure this out alone. Our free consultation is a safe space to ask questions, share concerns, and explore whether we can help your family.

Meet Them Where They Are
We don't lecture or moralize. We build genuine relationships based on respect, understanding their world view while gently challenging unhealthy patterns.

We focus on practical skills for today — building healthy habits, managing triggers, and making better choices in real-world situations.
Build Identity Beyond Addiction
We help teens discover who they are outside of substance use — their values, interests, strengths, and goals for the future.
Questions Parents Ask
Common questions about our adolescent services.
What age range do you work with?
We work with adolescents ages 13-19. For younger teens (13-15), we require more intensive family involvement. For older teens (18-19), we balance family involvement with their emerging adult autonomy based on the specific situation.
Will you tell my parents everything?
We maintain appropriate confidentiality with your teen while keeping parents informed about safety concerns and general progress. We discuss confidentiality boundaries with both teens and parents upfront so everyone knows what to expect. Safety always comes first.
What if my teen doesn't want help?
This is common. We often start by meeting the teen where they are, building rapport before pushing for change. Many teens are more open to peer-based coaching than therapy because it feels less clinical. We're skilled at engaging reluctant adolescents without making them feel forced.
Do you coordinate with therapists or treatment programs?
Absolutely. Many of our adolescent clients are also working with therapists, psychiatrists, or have recently completed treatment programs. With appropriate releases, we coordinate with your teen's treatment team to provide seamless support.
Can you help with drug testing?
We can incorporate accountability measures like drug testing into our services if requested by parents or treatment teams. However, we believe accountability works best within a supportive relationship, not as pure surveillance. We help families find the right balance.
What about academic support?
While we're not tutors, we help with academic skills like organization, time management, and motivation. We coordinate with schools to address substance-related academic issues and can accompany your teen to school meetings when helpful.
